We're winners of the Lápiz de Acero awards: Isla de Salamanca wins in the jewelry category!

This past 17th of October, at LCI Bogotá, we had the honor of receiving the Lápiz de Acero 2024 award in the jewelry category for our Isla de Salamanca collection. This ceremony, which celebrates innovation and talent in the Colombian design sphere, marks a very special moment for us at Salvárea.

Why Isla de Salamanca?

Since it's inception, this collection has been an ode to nature. Inspired in the beauty and resilience of the mangroves, we designed pieces which transmit the force of these landscapes through unique techniques. Each piece of this collection incorporates blown glass, a material and technique which we have embraced in our brand identity. This is no mere coincidence: the artisanal blown glass technique allows us to capture the essence and fluidity of nature, making each piece unique and special.

The impact behind every piece

At Salvárea, every piece of jewelry narrates not only a story, but also a purpose. Through our collaboration with Fundación Batis, we support the conservation of mangrove ecosystems in the Colombian coasts.
